Astrology: Lunar Returns
June 3rd, 2009 by taurusrising.net received 2 Comments »I’ve been interested in astrology for as long as I can remember, but I’ve only been “seriously” stuying astrology for a month. I’m learning all kinds of neat aspects of astrology and today I’d like to share what I’ve learned about lunar returns.
Lunar returns occur every month, as the moon is on a 28 day cycle around the Earth. The way it works is to compare your natal chart (birth chart) with the same position of the Moon for the current month. For example, I was born with my Moon in 22degrees of Libra. If I want to calculate my lunar return, I would check the month’s moon positions and locate when the Moon is in 22degrees of Libra. A lunar return is part of “predictive astrology” and basically shows you the kind of month you will have (emotionally) and events that may occur. Very cool stuff!
If you are interested in finding information for your lunar returns, check out Astrodienst. I think this site is the best for free charts and horoscope information. Lunar return charts (as well as many other charts such as: solar returns, progressions, synastry charts and more!) are found under the Extended Chart Selection. I’ve had an account on Astrodienst for five years+ and until a few weeks ago, I had never explored the Extended Charts section.
