Taurus Rising

Today’s drawing brings us The Magician.

The Magician reminds me of a person that is a jack of all trades.  On the Waite deck, he has all of his tools on the workbench.  The tools are symbolized by the Pentacle, Wand, Sword and Cup.  The Magician is in control of his destiny.  In other words, to get where he wants to be, he has the power to achieve this goal.  The Magician is a person with a lot of great potential.  The querent may also be receiving gifts in the form of new ideas or inspiration.

Reversed: When The Magician card is reversed, it reminds me of a person that is not ready to be The Magician.  My friend describes this person as an apprentice.  There is something holding them back, perhaps the person needs to polish up on their magic (skills).  I also see a person that may be a con artist or a salesperson.  Somebody that will win you over with convincing words so that you will purchase their product.  A smooth talker.  Somebody that will work to win you over and then run away (with the money!).

I still feel unfamiliar with The Magician card, so I will need to study him more.
