Taurus Rising

Today’s drawing brings us the Three of Cups.

I was pleased to get the Three of Cups card today.  In the Waite deck, the Three of Cups has three girls celebrating with their cups in the air.  This card represents a lot of happy things which can be summarized in three words: happiness, friendship, and celebration.  Some other things that this card represents:  celebrating the fruits from labor (represented by all of the fruit in the picture!), being thankful and showing gratitude, a connection.  Since this is a three, it reminds me of the Body, Mind, and Spirit and then I think of the three working together to complete a goal.  Teamwork.  Joy.  Optimism.

Reversed: When the Three of Cups reversed, I think of somebody that is over-indulging.  Too much celebration.  Unbalance of work and play- by not putting enough effort or focus into work.  Having “too much fun” without consequence for anything.  It makes me think of the person that parties all of the time and then ends up throwing away a lot of their life.
