Tarot Cards: 6 of Swords
June 5th, 2009 by taurusrising.net received 2 Comments »
The last couple of days, I’ve found the Six of Swords in my readings. In my last two readings (Celtic Cross), it was the Immediate Future or the Projected Outcome. I find this especially amazing considering that I’m sort of going through a transitional phase in my life right now. Basically, it’s the end of a friendship… a friendship from the past, something I’ve held onto longer than I should have.
Strangely enough, a few hours after I wrote that letter… I began to feel life seeping back into my veins. Happiness. I feel alive. I feel full of life. It’s like the clouds around me have dissipated.
I will miss the friendship, but I had been holding onto something that no longer existed. Maybe in time, our lives will cross paths again and it will be different.
Notes
Here are my notes for the Six of Swords:
- This card is associated with transitioning, moving from danger. Venturing our of the rough waters to find a sense of calmness.
- Loss. Knowing that you have to lose something or leave something behind in order to move forward.
- Coming out of a depression, some kind of emotional suffering.
- Reversed: Trapped in a situation that is difficult to escape. Not going anywhere. Denying the reality of the situation

Hi, welcome to Taurus Rising!

Yes, it does! It’s a relief, too. I’ve been in some rough waters.
After I wrote this post, I saw the Six of Swords card two more times. Once in a daily reading and then on my “daily card” on the astrology.com Tarot site!
Letting go is so hard but I’m glad you feel better now. Looks like you are going through a period of adjustment. Six of Swords does indicate that doesn’t it? Also travel and new ideas.
