Within the last few months, I decided to begin meditating. It is a great way to relax, develop intuition skills, and to get in touch with your higher self.
However, in the beginning, I found it difficult to meditate on my own. There were too many distractions. My mind was holding millions of thoughts. My brain was scattered all over the place. I couldn’t get my mind to silence itself. How are you supposed to relax when you can’t get your brain to shush?
While searching Google, I found the solution to my problem! It’s called guided meditation. I find more information on this topic through a wonderful website called, Meditation Oasis. This site has a wealth of information with tips on meditating. It also features a podcast with a variety of guided meditations. Some examples include: expressing your emotions freely, relaxation, letting go, and enhancing your creativity.
Meditation Oasis also has a store featuring compilations of their podcasts and music to meditate to. They also offer a class on learning how to meditate, but I’ve found the podcasts to be beneficial on their own.
I love this site and have found it to be a great resource for meditation!
