My name is Kat.  I’m the girl behind the blog.

The basic story about Taurus Rising stems from learning a million different things and wanting to keep track of everything.  I’m a knowledge junkie, so I’ve got to keep track of everything somehow, right?

I’m very interested in Tarot.  Right now, learning Tarot card meanings, is the main focus of my blog.  I’ve been studying the cards since May 2009.  There is a lot to learn!  However, as of December 2009 – Tarot has taken a back seat, to my other favorite interest…

Astrology!  I’ve been into astrology as long as I can remember, but I’m finally learning more than the basics of Sun signs, Moon signs and rising signs.

I also enjoy analyzing dreams.  I’ve been keeping a dream journal for over ten years.  Initially, I had been interpreting dreams for myself.  Mid-2009, I decided to help others empower themselves by understanding what is happening in their dreamland.  There are a lot of symbols in dreams that can represent issues occurring in our waking lives.  By understanding our dreams, we can learn more about our thought processes and how to handle/or effectively take control of the situations.

I’m a contributor for the Astro Creeps and Tarot Freaks blog – where I interpret dreams every Wednesday, titled, “Wednesday’s Waking Moments“.  Our forum, Astro Creeps and Tarot Freaks is an awesome collaborative project with my favorite people: The Tarot Lady, Starcana, and AstroGrrl.  We created it with the idea of a haven for newbies and professionals to exchange knowledge – without feeling the “big egos” that are often found in other forums.  It’s a fun and friendly atmosphere – check it out!
