3 Card Focus: 4 of Pentacles, 4 of Wands reversed, 5 of Cups reversed

This week’s 3 Card Focus revolves around the 4 of Pentacles, 4 of Wands reversed, and the 5 of Cups reversed.

Reading: You’ve been blessed with many gifts.  However, instead of sharing the wealth, knowledge, or joy with others, you have been keeping these things to yourself.  It’s driven you to some isolation, perhaps to the point where you’ve neglected those supporting you.  This has influenced a project you were working.  The project is nearing completion, however since the loss of support, it has crumbled some foundations.  Failure to launch – it’s not the time to celebrate, there’s more work to be done.  Since then, there may be feelings of regret – but once you allow yourself to move past it, things will get better.

Thoughts: Things may not be going as planned.  Although the groundwork of your project has weakened, you can still rebuild that foundation.  Give more thought into your action, and think of the consequences for every scenario.  Plan and think ahead.  Find support and accept support from others.  They will help you build a stronger base.  Give back to your supporters, your community.  Share your happiness and gifts with others.  If you do these things, you will find yourself with a stronger sense of security and new alliances with others.

Today’s drawing brings us the 4 of Wands.

This is a happy card!  I see a celebration, the completion of a project.  The wands are holding a line of fruit, which symbolizes receiving/harvesting the fruit after hard labor.  It’s a successful completion, people are dancing in joy!

There is a castle in the background, which I see as wealth or the foundation of something grand.  This may be one of the rewards of finishing your project.

The project has been completed and you are being rewarded with success of all kinds.

I also see this card as a union of sorts, perhaps a marriage, business partnership, or new friendship.  It may also be a combination of elements, when on their own… they have their own power.  But together with teamwork, these elements are more powerful.

There are some greenery in the background – plants.  They are very bright and lush.  It reminds me of a feeling of “aliveness”.  Perhaps it could be said as a new vigor for life.

Reversed: With the 4 of Wands reversed, I see a delay in reaching the final stage of a project. The wands are sticks in the mud, it’s really difficult to move and reach the goal.

An alternative to the 4 of Wands reversed, I also see that the fruit has fallen to the ground, efforts on a project have failed.  The foundation has crumbled.
